The healing ministry of Alvernia Province serve the sick and suffering children of God as face of God’s merciful love in today’s world, by beholding the suffering Christ in the sick and suffering, by imbibing the model that Jesus Christ lived during His life. Karanchira Bishop Allapatt Mission hospital which started functioning in 1970 May1st, Dhanya Mission Hospital which was established in 1982 have played a remarkable role in this mission of serving the poor, sick and the suffering. Those who are admitted in our hospital general ward are given concession in treatment expenses. In Dhanya Mission Hospital Christian mothers are given concession in delivery expenses from third child and beyond. Since 2017, 358 Christian families have availed this benefit. In Karanchira hospital with support of our Province and benefactors 8 dialysis patients are undergoing dialysis free of cost. Hostel facility has also been arranged for girls to reside and study nursing in the Vijayamatha School of Nursing which was established in 1979. These girls are given training not only academic training but are also assisted to improve spiritual realm of their life. The 50 year old Karanchira Bishop Allapatt Mission hospital in 2019 and Dhanya Mission Hospital in 2020 attained entry level accreditation by NABH.
