MINISTRY OF MEDIA AND  SOCIAL COMMUNICATIONS

Rosary Press which   started in1961 associated with Potta Rosary convent under the undivided Thrissur Province is continues to offer great service in Printing world. This was the first step of Alvernia Province in Press and Printing.  In 2014 Alvernia province did set up the website  www.fccirinjalakuda.org of its own. The you tube channel "Laverna waves" which was instigated in 2020 serve  as a powerful and novel medium for evangelization through broadcast of motivational talks, messages, morning prayer, Know the day's saint etc .   14 books and 5 CDs has been published so far on consecrated life  and for  promoting religious vocations. "Balidaan" (2017), a drama based on Bl.Martyr Rani Maria was played on many stages thereby   spreading the missionary zeal of the blessed martyr to many. In this age of increasing female feticide a CD named "Jeevan nidhi", was published in 2016 to spread the message that life is a gift from God and is to be valued greatly.  The Alvernia Province magazine "Light of Laverna" started in 1981 provides an excellent platform for our  sisters to express their creative and artistic talents.
